Good voltage for a 45x overclock

So if i wanted to overclock my CPU to 4.5Ghz what would be a guess at a good voltage?

 

 

CPU: Core i5 3570K

Mobo: Asus Sabertooth Z77

PSU: Seasonic 750w

 

 

 

 

Also i have a bad coil whine when my CPU starts getting loaded down. What could this most likely be?

around 1.25v, most likely lower.

 

Maybe its your psu. not much you can do.

Well i know its not going to work at 1.25 v, my CPU doesnt overclock that well i don't know if im doing it wrong or what

Where is the coil whine coming from. Possibly the VRM's on the mobo. so I would blame the motherboard.

 

 

Also if you dont know what you are doing. STOP reset the bios and read some guides before you break somthing.

Keep it under 1.3v and she'll be right. Mine is at 4.6@1.275 but I could get it a little less if I really wanted. My temps are fine and it's under that magic 1.3v so I'm happy
