I have around 2k to spend on my pc and can't decide between these two builds.

Also if there's anything else that you recommend I change please let me know.

If you want to do mostly gaming get the Intel build, if you want to do mostly content creation get the AMD build.

not all ddr4 ram is supported with ryzen yet so make sure to check which ones are

gaming only? get the 7700k. 

gaming+streaming/rendering/editing? the ryzen 1700 for sure.
