Hello everyone, my name is Connor (otherwise known as Bluedrake)

 

I'm a Youtuber who plays video games... like most of the online world nowadays... but my true passion lies in community development, something I've been pursuing now for a while with my community.

 

and recently we've also been researching and developing our own independent video & follower notification platform, similar to floatplane... which is what got me interested in joining the forums =)

 

I think we can all agree that more options for creators need to exist online, both for housing their content, but also building a relationship with their followers.

 

We've spent a lot of time researching options, from IPFS, to webtorrent, to rentable CDNs, and beyond...

 

If these forums are active... I would love to ping pong some more ideas around! I'm only an amateur content creator and developer, but I really enjoying sharing and researching things like this with others =) and I'm hoping this is a good place to start!
