I'm looking at building a pc at a maximum of $2,000 for my system. My system would be used 50% for 1080p/1440p gaming and 50% for 3D modeling with CAD and video editing.

I'm going for both athstetics and functionality. So if a custom water option from ekwb is a possibility, you have my attention. My color scheme is red/white/black.

Post some suggested build options if you'd like to help :)

For 3D rendering and video editing, would it be helpful to go with an NVMe and 32gb ram? Or is 16gb and SATA SAD good enough?

32GB RAM and NVMe is best imho, but it depends on how much RAM you see yourself actually using

I think a Sata SSD and 32GB of ram is enough, and 4tb of storage should work.

The builds I make aren't overly complex right now, so I think 16 is fine for a few years until it becomes more ram intensive
