Hello all,

I'm looking into putting together a M-itx Ryzen build based off of the new Bio-start m-itx B350 mobo. Would like to run this by others first :)

Case: Fractal Node 202 + included 450W PSU

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600x

Mobo: Biostar Racing B350GT

Cooler: Corsair H60 with 2 replacement Coolermaster Xtraflo 120 Slims

Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 2x8GB

SSD: Samsung Evo 960 M.2 250gb

GPU: Gigabyte 1070 Mini ITX

Modifications:

Throw away 2.5: drive bay

May have to cut out slot for m.2 ssd in mobo tray. Rigidity may be problem.

Cut slit where the power cable currently is to run AOI tubes through (Make spanner plate to put back over the hole)

Water cut the side pannel to allow air flow for rad

I think it's ambitious but doable.

In that case, yes go ahead with the build. But if you want to fit a Zotac GTX 1080 Mini ITX in there, just for a better oomph.

Not going all out with this build. Going to be a little LAN PC. Was actually thinking it might be small enough to create a custom bracket to mount flat against the back of my monitor but that's a whole difference design hell.

Then I think the only thing I would do is switch out that ssd for something like this, games tend to use a lot of space nowadays so it's worth it. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/RKhj4D/crucial-mx300-11tb-m2-2280-solid-state-drive-ct1050mx300ssd4

I'm fine with 250gb on my current rig. But maybe a 500gb could be added

Why not just get a case with a handle, that's small and easily portable?

Something like the Cerberus by Kimera Industries.

At least then it's designed to work with everything.
