Is 8 passes of MemTest86 enough?

Go to solution Solved by RadiatingLight,

Yeah looks fine. Should be more than enough.

I ran MemTest86 for 8 passes on a stick of RAM that I bought secondhand. No errors popped up. Does that mean that the stick is fine, or should I run more tests?

For future reference, one is enough for standard use, and two or three is good if you're experiencing problems and want to be positive.

If you aren't already, you should use the Passmark version.  The free one works fine.
