Hello guys, I'm making my first gaming PC build and I'm not sure whether these components are okay.

PC part picker list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9gjp4C

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0 GHz Quad-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: Corsair H60 54.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3 ATX LGA 1151 Motherboard

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

Storage: PNY CS1311 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Superclocked Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card

Case: NZXT S340 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case

Case Fan: Corsair Air Series AF120 Red 52.2 CFM 120mm Fan

Case Fan: Corsair CO-9050016-RLED 52.2 CFM 120mm Fan

Power Supply:  EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Monitor: Acer G257HU smidpx 25.0" 2560x1440 60Hz Monitor

Keyboard: Thermaltake CHALLENGER PRIME Wired Gaming Keyboard

Mouse: Logitech G300S Wired Optical Mouse

My budget initially was $1700 max. But I had to reduce it so that I could get better peripherals. I'm also not sure if I made a good decision by choosing the PNY 120 GB storage over the 240 GB's one since most games nowadays need bigger SSD so that they can run faster.

The games I will be playing are mainly Overwatch, BF1 and ME Andromeda.

I don't think the case fans are necessary for my build, but I've heard a lot of times people saying that the fans that come with the case are shitty, so that's why i put them in there.

Also, I was thinking to choose a 144Hz monitor but they are waaay too expensive for my budget, so I guess I'll just have to settle down for a 60 Hz monitor like the one on my list. Have any of you had any issues when playing at 60 Hz with similar PC setups? Should I just go instead for a 1080p with 120+ Hz or maybe less?

So please help me decide. Ideally I would like to spend less than the already given price but If I need a better monitor for example I don't really care in spending a little bit more as long as the price does not exceed the budget. Thank you very much.

Oh and by the way, this is my first time using pc part picker and I've read some youtube comments saying that sometimes the compatibility check used by the site is inaccurate. Should I double check myself or maybe you can help me there too since I'm not 100% sure the items are compatible.

Don't get the EVGA NEX, get the EVGA Supernova G2 intead, it costs almoast the same but the G2 is a higher quality PSU. This upgrade is worth every penny.

I would recommend buying something with an 240mm radiator ir you want a closed loop cooler.
