So my mechanical keyboard has been giving me issues lately.

It started with my keyboard disconnecting every once in a while, and so would my mouse (sometimes it just wouldn't turn on even in a different port). I even had the wireless dongle plugged in to isolate the problem to the USB ports. I mean that mouse still would disconnect sometimes on my new motherboard and on my friends computer but it wasn't as bad and swapping out the cable with a generic micro-USB seems to have fixed the problem (I can't remember however if there are still issues with it, maybe the motherboard was faulty and fried the mouse and keyboard?). I truly think my motherboard was the culprit since my AUX adapter one day "popped" and never worked again.

Anyways I bought a new case, motherboard, and CPU. Still the issue persists, at first it was really bad, but after grounding my keyboard the problem initially disappeared but then reappeared rarely. Recently its been really bad under load, especially in Saints Row 4, even though my components are working harder in CS:GO and I've had 0 issues with keyboard while playing CS:GO. My friend gave me a mouse and it has no issues in anything.

I've connected my keyboard to my laptop, same issue.

Time for a new keyboard or did I get unlucky 3 times in a row?

What keyboard do you have, you just keep calling it a mechanical keyboard... Not all mechanical keyboards are created equal my friend. Lol. I would go with a KM780 Brown RGB... It is a dream to type on and built like a tank with audio, mic, and USB pass through.

GPU: XFX RX 7900 XTX

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

Havit KB366L.

I already have my eyes set on a really nice keyboard, but it doesn't have blue switches which kinda sucks.
