Welcome to another episode(ep. 2) of what REALLY triggers @Clanscorpia. In this episode, another highway issue in Atlanta. In as little as 30 minutes after this post, yet another one will come out (ep. 3).

 

Now to the serious part.

 

On April 16th or 17th (I can't determine with my sources), crews were pumping concrete through old gas lines. Yes, that is correct. They were pumping a material through a pipe that wasn't even originally meant for that material, and had been retired. With a malfunction, an air buildup caused the pipes to bulge, and explode. Right above them was I-20. This caused a buckle in the road, and a large hump(ramp) was formed. A motorcyclist went over this hump at around 60mph(about 100kmph). Though hospitalized, he is in a stable condition. 

 

It it will take about a month to repair the broken area.

 

Injuries: 1

Casualties: 0
