So I am building a PC and I was able to get a dell Optiplex 3010 Motherboard and I hooked up all the components and power in the case and everything. When I turned it on the USB ports wouldn't recognize my mouse or keyboard. I was stuck in the BIOS and it says to "press any key to boot", the only problem I CAN'T. I tried resetting the BIOS via the CMOS jumper, the CMOS battery replacement, I have tried getting rid of all static power, and tried lots of different keyboards unlock commands. PLEASE HELP, I don't know if I have covered everything and even if I did I found another motherboard I could buy. (though I don't want to spend the money if there is a fix and this is my last resort...)

Also here are my PC components:

  • Dell OptiPlex 3010 MotherBoard
  • Dell Stock Heatsink
  • Intel Core i5 3400k
  • WesternBlue 500GB HDD
  • Power Brick (240 Volts)
  • 4GB of DDR3 RAM
