So i am looking for a cheap 1TB SSD to store games maybe some other files such as videos(recordings and movies). Budget is around $260. These were the two i was looking at Crucial for speeds, and SanDisk for MLC. I see people saying MLC SSD's will last longer so mainly the reason why i am looking at it. Though it's not for certain if i will get another SSD quickly due to the still high prices, may get a WD 1TB Black for now my now pretty old 1TB Green drive.

MLC will last longer than TLC, but they'll still both last decades.  Flash degradation does exist, but it's not really a risk because by the time the drive fails, 1TB will seem like 1GB does now.  Focus on speeds and reviews more.  The OCZ Trion 150 has some decent speeds (and is one of the most reliable brands), but it's back ordered.  The next one up I'd recommend for your price range is the Crucial MX300.  There is an okay Sandisk one in between, but I wouldn't recommend it.  As far as speeds go, Sandisk is usually a little lower.  With the money you're spending, you probably don't want to get something sub-par just to save $20.
