Microsoft Edge on Android?

Microsoft Edge should be on Android.

We all know and see and that Google Chrome is by far the most used and loved browser nowadays, be it Windows, Linux, Android or even MacOS or its mobile counterpart. The wide range of extensions, speed and ease of use make it the go-to option for most users.

When we all saw Microsoft Edge for the first time, let's face it, it didn't suck. In fact it had potential and is still extremely easy to use, and fast as well. As for extensions, how many of us actually even use extentions? I decided last week to give Edge a trial run for a week and see how well it handled me. And to be honest, I was surprised. It's an amazing and fast browser, well thought out and blends perfectly with Windows 10.

However, the only thing that kept me back from making Edge as my daily browser, is that there's no Android counterpart for it. Neither for Linux, or iOS. I missed being able to check my browsing data from one device to another and it hindered with my habit of doing a lot of my productivity on mobile devices. The ability to sync across all devices is just amazing, and not having it there makes a browser seem incomplete.

Microsoft is heading towards the right direction by joining and linking everything to a single Microsoft account, and I wish it were the same with Edge.

I have so much to say about this but I'd rather not. If you want, you can start a "change.org" petition and tweet it constantly to [at]MicrosoftHelps on Twitter. Also, why would you want Bing as the default search engine instead of Google?

Edge does allow changing the default search engine to any one you like, as other browsers do as well.

And thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately I'm not 18 yet and can't do that.

Probably everyone on this forum has at least one.

It's very unlikely that edge will come on Android as Edge was built with windows kernels from the ground so it would take a lot of work for a port to any other OS.

If they were porting the most likely place they would do it first would be OSX
