Sharing internet over Ethernet

Hey,

in my previous post you guys helped me figure out, how to connect a pc to a mac and use the mac as a wifi card, and set it up from the mac side, but I encountered a problem. I set up a line of ethernet cables and modems and switches on the way, but when I connected it to my gaming pc it showed the triangle next to the ethernet, saying there is no internet going through the cable. The thing is when I connect it to my laptop(also windows) it works without issues. Anybody have any idea how to fx it?

Sorry i dont have a solution as ive never tried that.

but it sounds like an unnecessarily over-complicated solution
why not just get a USB wifi adapter?

I think I said it but anyways, some guy is coming to change it on saturday.

can you link your other post so I cna go over what you did there?
