I remember when I played minecraft at 40 or so fps. It was so bad. But know my sister is getting into playing minecraft. Thing is, the only place she has to play is "her" mac. I think its a 2007 or so. It's not a laptop but a monitor. Anyways, it's slow. But i'm not about to use money on my 6 year old sister. I also don't want to let her use my gaming pc, cause I use it most of the time. Basically are there any game boosters or stuff for a mac playing minecraft? Thanks.

You can maybe try the Optifine mod? It downgrades the graphics...

Game boosters are bs, they don't do anything.

There isn't much you can do for that old of a system.

If you want a mac to game better, install windows, there graphics system sucks.

Is there a video linus has done on it? Or just a reliable one in general? Im actually interested in switching to windows on it.

I don't think he has a video, but many tests have been done and there is a 1-2% gain with ever tweak you can do. The system already gives all the power to the game, there is no easy tweak.

Not a detailed one. You can check for videos that shows you how to install Bootcamp.
