I am pretty pleased with my first build plan. I don't often spend this much money, but can anyone improve on this ?

Can anyone make it cheaper without loosing too much performance ?

Switch the GPU for either a Martrix for 10USD less or get a regular 280X. Frame difference won't be much at the same clock speed.

The fans on the Asus DCUII are very good. The temp difference is small so it's alright.

You could always go socket 1155. Its pretty cheap ATM.

Are you a student at a tech school? If yes you could just download legit win8 from dreamspark.

Cutting down on price, get a cheaper psu, corsair is expensive, if you're a hazarder like me you could use a 35€ 700W PSU and live in fear of it blowing up your house.

(Im not reccomending this option just stating facts, and im not in any way responsible for any damage to you or your property)

iv found out i can get it, because my uni is a premium subscriber to it, but got to jump through hoops to get it.
