Ey

I am planning on buying a Fractal Define C Window, as it is super cheap and offers great value based on what I've seen.

In the spec sheet, it says that the case supports either 2x 140mm fans or 3x 120mm fans in the front, but could I put 2 140mm fans in and 1 120mm?

Also, can I mount two Corsair AF140 quiet in the top as exhaust, whilst still keeping the sound dampening panel on? Those 2 fans are almost entirely for aesthetics in that part, and will be running at low RPMs. Will the air be completely blocked by the Moduvent (Or whatever it's called) in the top, or will it let some air pass through?

I'm planning on putting one Fractal X2 GP12 in the bottom after removing the 3.5" drive cage, two BeQuiet 140mm fans and possibly another Fractal 12cm in the front, one Corsair AF120 quiet in the back and possibly 2 Af140s in the top.

Thanks

1. afaik, you probably can as the mounts for the fans are not just a hole, you can slide the fans according to the positioning.

2. nope, the sound dampening must be taken off or else the fans won't get any air.

pretty easy to work out. The case is 440mm including feet. 2x140+120=400 which is going to be too big for the case. My p400 has the same spec and it can prob bit a 90mm fan in with 2 x140 but there's no point.

If you put fans on top then remove the cover. This should be obvious.

the moduvent mounting feet conflict with fan mounting screws so it simply will not work, even before considering airflow (which will be zero, even if you missed the feet)
