Hello all,

I dont know if this is the right place to ask this question, for this is my first time being here, but I am having a problem regarding my external monitor's screen refresh rate displayed on my laptop's intel hd graphics control panel. I am unable to use the Nvidia control panel to control the display for it is missing the display tab. So on the Intel Hd graphics control panel, it is said that the external monitor (samsung S23C570) has been set to a refresh rate of 71hz (originally 60hz, but I "overclocked" it). However, on the monitor tab from the settings page where you can adjust the framerate, it is said to be only at 60hz, as if the overclock has not been done at all. This is similar on games that display the resolution in its settings (such as Overwatch), it says that the external monitor only has a refresh rate of 60hz. As a reminder, my set up is a samsung external monitor connected to a gaming laptop (asus rog gl502vt strix). Can someone tell me what is the problem?

Thanks

Edmundshwong
