So I recently got a Algato HD60 Pro because I had some ideas for what I wanted to use it for, but I was thinking, would it be better to use the Algato through OBS Studio and the Algato capture my video card back into my PC to OBS Studio and then stream up to twitch? Basically what's better to capture with, hardware, or game capture that OBS Studio has?

Hardware will invariably be the faster solution, however, Software will provide the greatest flexibility. With streaming in particular, you require to balance quality, performance, bandwidth and cost. With this in mind, try both methods and see which strikes the best balance for your application.

The only downside I know is that it also means my whole desktop would get capture if I use just the Algato.
