Slow PC

I might be stupid i don't know, but my PC has started to become a bit more slow the last year. With this i mean it hangs up on me, does simple tasks super slow and sometimes just randomly cuts off audio to my hyperx cloud 2's. Nothing is really ever at 100% except for one of my harddribes which i have dealt with somewhat. Why is it so damm slow?

What are your specs? If your hard drives are at 100% then that will dramatically slow your system down. Not sure about how it could be affecting your audio though.

Specs? Have you tried reinstalling windows

The audio thing just started to heppen a couple of months ago. I've got a fx 8350 (with 8gb ram) and r9 280x

By reinstalling windows, does that mean i will also have to wipe my harddrive?

I have not tried reformating yet but i have disabled all of the autostart apps

Depends how you do it. If you just reset your pc through the os, you'll keep all your files but your apps will be gone.. 

 

Otherwise you can try the good ol' ccleaner+malwarebyte

wouldn't recommend ccleaner, it sees issues with vanilla fresh windows and has broken a Windows install once for me

Personally, I'd suggest replacing your hard drive with an SSD because that would stop most of these HDD-related lag issues and make your computer feel lightning fast.
