To start with I have an Asus 970 pro, AMD FX 4100 and finally 1x8 kingston hyperx savage 2133 ddr3 there are other things but I am confident it can hang.

I cannot see my UEFI very well. it has no refresh with this monitor I am using. so it starts black and as I run the mouse over it I start to kinda see things. the bottom selections are below my screen when I navigate by keyboard. I could possible navigate that way but very difficult. to get back on track I have OC'd my CPU stable up too 4300 using AMD over-drive and then stress tested it for an hour. but the best I can get from my ram is 1666 or so. I would like what settings to change from basic boot settings to be able to get the most from my ram and my CPU around 4100-4300. Images as well as step by step would help so much. if it can be done from overdrive and would allow my system to idle down that would be great too.

Thank you very much. I appreciate your help and I will give it a try shortly and will post my results. BTW your build looks very similar to mine.

I am getting a stable 4.3 GHz system for under 700 dollars.

$51    AMD 4100

$40    Shark 750 watt power supply with blue led fan

$49    UpHere all in one 120mm all in one water cooler

$81    Kingston HyperX 8 gb ddr3 2133

$107  Asus 970 pro motherboard

$56    XFX Radeon r7 240 4gb

$83    Ramsung 250 Evo SSD

$72    Apevia x-dreamer-4 blue case

$538 with the main things so far.

I used the 500gig hard drive from my old system to bring over the OS and since I had the room I went ahead and added in the old Dvd-Rom I had.

to clean things up and make them look better I added

$12    Icydock dual 2.5 SSD 1x3.5 HDD to 5.25 bay

$7     10 thub-screws

$7     5 black pci slot covers dust filtering

$4     30 black zip ties

$560 Total

I could not pass up 64 for a evga 850 BQ semi modular PSU and 40 for a Raijentek 280 mm all in one liquid cooler. So all in I am at $662. Not bad for someone who has not built a computer in 17 years eh? Oh yea and I bought 5 oem codes for windows 10 pro for 20 bucks so I guess I paid $666 for this system. maybe I should change the colors to red on the inside LOL.
