Rival 300 side buttons

Hey guys so i recently did the latest windows 10 update probably i bad idea in hindsight but yeah lol

 

The problem im having is that the side buttons work perfectly well in every game using google chrome etc but when i try to bind any of the side buttons in league of legends it just refuses to do so. It worked before i did this update! 

 

I've reinstalled the drivers for the mouse and reinstalled league but nothing has changed :( posted on the forums but no one has replied so i thought i'd try my luck here as i've received a lot of help in the past :)
