Looking for usb cable, fast charge and data?

Hey LTT

 

I have an s7 edge which I am holding onto until the note 8 comes. My dad has a 6p and I am wondering if its worth picking up a usb-c+micro usb is worth it or should I just continue using the micro usb cable I have? Is it worth buying it?
