booting? just turn on your pc and if its good its good, if windows doesn't load youll have to reinstall it.

people will say do a new installed no matter what usally (and it is a good idea), but when i changed my mobo windows still worked and i never fresh installed and to this day i have no zero issues

Well it goes straight to bios and it recognizes both of my drives. But do I just change the boot location then?

yeah just boot from the drive you have your OS on and if it works just set that as first in the boot order

Let's say I do a new install of windows, does everything I have in those drives get deleted? Or what happens to the os that was already in the ssd?

well youll want to wipe the drive 100% and then install windows again, so back it up if you have to
