650w power supply?

Hi Linus Tech Tips

 

I have worked out the wattage of the power supply I am getting but was wandering what psu to get as there are lots out there. I am looking around the pice range of the EVGA 650w G2 in £. Is this the best one to get for the 650w category and is the EVGA brand recommend by you or are there any other psu's I should consider?

they do a g3 now. For a similar price range there is the corsair rm series, which is also very good.

If you make a post contradicting mine that doesn't directly address my claims, or cites 'facts' without evidence, I'm probably not going to bother responding to it, because you probably didn't bother reading my post properly, and because life is too short. It doesn't mean I don't have an answer for you. It means I'm not dignifying you with a response.

The 650G2 is a good choice. Unless the G3 is the same price or cheaper then go for it.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
