What kind of a 10 pin slot? Most likely the answer is no

I wouldn't think so. They make them so they don't fit, so you don't break your computer. An 8 pin should go in an 8 pin slot, a 10 pin in a 10 pin, etc.

I was thinking of getting an adapter. I want to upgrade my GPU but I only have a 250w power supply. Any ideas?

I know, that's why I am trying to replace my PSU, but I couldn't find a PSU that comes with a 10 pin connector to the motherboard

It's hard to identify it. It's a Lenovo PC but whenever I try to search for the mainboard given by CPU-Z, I cant seem to find it. It says its a Lenovo Skybay

Probably a custom power connector then. Not gonna work then unless you swap the psu and motherboard :/

rx480 draws about 100w alone if you overclock it it could probably draw up to 140 150w alone so buy a PSU

im using adapter but for 6pin. and no problem with that but idk i cant say yours will work for sure. better get a good psu with the connectors you need would be my advice. wouldnt risk a brand new card.

that's a really odd propriety connector from lenovo, some digging

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2924190/pin-power-supply-motherboard.html

So it uses 10pin but does it use a long 24pin? Because there are adapters for that but not sure if they'll work properly

Yea I was also looking through the Toms Hardware Forums and found the best answer was to get an adapter or another best answer was to not get an adapter
