How liquid flows through a custom loop (CPU + GPU and 2 rads)?

Hey guys,

 

I'm planning my first custom loop this summer, and before I start buying parts, I've been trying to research/ask as many questions as possible.

 

Here's how the loop looks in my head. Please feel free to comment/suggest/critique/etc.

 

Pump/Res -> GPU block -> top radiator -> CPU block -> front radiator -> back to res/pump.

 

Am I missing anything, or off the mark completely? Is there a benefit to 2 rads or is skipping 1 radiator and going straight from GPU to CPU block ok? Any feedback is appreciated!

run it which ever way will look better in your system as it will not make any difference on your temps

Going block to block is fine, you get minor fluctuations until the system reaches its stable operating temp, putting a rad between them won't change anything, also it would be a good idea to throw a T splitter and a ball valve at the low point in the loop to make draining and maintenance easy

when its warming up the cpu will warm up to its stable temp before then gpu's but once your at the stable temp it makes no difference the rooting because if the liquids last place was both rads then it would be really hot yes but then it goes though 2 rads and then cool down a hell of a lot and then to the pump and dont worry about flow rate and shit like that as long as its good enough having the liquid flying round at max speed wont help at all just kill your pump faster

Loop order wont matter. Just flow direction for the blocks themselves. The amount of rads wont matter either, just the total amount of heat they can dissipate based off the system.
