Hey guys, I am currently trying to build a computer in order to fit with my 144hz 1440p monitor. The main games I am playing are overwatch, the witcher 3 and csgo.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HmrDFd I wanted to ask your guy's opinion wether or not I should compromise on other components that make up the computer such as liquid cooling, the m.2 etc and upgrade gtx 1080 to a 1080ti, or if having higher quality components and a 1080 normal would be the better option.
Thanks in advance for your help

I think swapping out the AIO cooler and the m.2 for a 1080TI isn't worth it. I don't think it's even possible or you need to get a hyper 212 evo and a small normal SSD. In my opinion not worth. Expecially for the games you play.

My own build: RΛZΞR theme

CPU: Intel Core i5 7600K // CPU cooler: Cryorig H7 // Motherboard: MSI Z270 gaming pro carbon //

Video Card: MSI Armor gtx 1070 OC 8GB // RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB 3200MHz //

SSD: Samsung EVO 960 500GB // HDD: 2x WD yellow edition 2TB //

Case: NZXT H440 RAZER edition // Power Supply: Corsair RM550x //

Operating Software: Windows 10 pro 64-bit

It's more than enough, a 1080Ti would be nice but not really needed.

A 1080 Ti would be pretty much at the sweet spot for a 1440p 144Hz. My GTX 1080 sometimes gets up to 100 FPS in AAA games, but it mostly floats around 80-90 if I don't crank absolutely everything up.

You could get a 1080 ti without really sacrificing performance if you wanted.

The Cryorig H7 would still allow for a decent overclock. You would want to wait for an aftermarket 1080 ti though.

Go with something like this, you can always add an m.2 and AIO later on when you have money, little harder to just swap out the 1080 for a 1080ti.

That aside I have a 1080 on 1440P and it's great, but the ti would be better
