I picked up acer et430k and first thing that I did was dead pixel test. I didnt find anything. Now I am confused because this showed up.

I am pretty sure I would notice it at the beginning and I think it showed up after first hour of using monitor. Its under the screen so its not scratch or dirty spot ( at least not on the outside). What is it and how can I get rid off it? Should I take it back to the store? Its screen for work so I can live with it but I dont want it to die at some point.

Is that like dirt under the screen? When you try to "shake or hit" the monitor, does that thing shift?

No idea. I have never seen that. Does it do it if you log into BIOS (Where the screen is fully lit)? If not I'd call tech support, or just bring it back if that would be faster than an hour on the phone (between holding for a person and then speaking with a tech representative).

There is enough youth in this world, how about a fountain of smart?
