Blue yeti sounds cringey on discord...

Ashiella

Windows mic volume: 40 / mic gain: minimum / distance: 6inches / why does it sound like ass, the fucking snowball sounds better. (Using original cord into motherboard usb 3.0) in audacity it sounds gorgeous, but in communicating software like Skype, steam call, team speak, discord, etc. it sounds like I'm choking on it and the gain is on maximum. (For everyone)

Have you tweaked your settings within those programs?

You can't really change much, but I have tested every combination that would make a difference.

I'm having a similar problem.  I have a at2035 and a Scarlett Solo interface.  In audacity my mic sounds amazing, but in any communication program my friends complain more times than not that my mic is staticy/poppy sounding.

@Ashiella I have seemed to fix my issue but going into discord > settings > voice > advanced and then make sure you have "Use Legacy Audio Subsystem" Checked.  Then on Teamspeak, go to, Tools > options > capture mode and then select "Direct Sound".  I hope this helps and it seems to have fixed my problem! :D
