Kernel Power Event ID 41

Ok this is really starting to confuse me.

For the past couple of weeks my PC has shut down when playing Rocket League online and only this game online. Event viewer records it as a Kernel Power Event ID 41.

I have tried the following:

Reinstalling the game

New, more powerful PSU

Removing GPU overclock

Reducing CPU overclock

Removing RAM overclock

Replacing thermal paste on GPU

Different versions of Windows

Reinstalling graphics drivers

 

Specs:

FX 6300

MSI 750ti

Crucial 16gb ddr3

Super flower 850w PSU (550w Corsair before replaced)

Kraken x52 cooler

Have you tried updating your bios?

event 41 normally just states an unexpected shutdown (power loss... Not shutting down properly, it's just a generic event ID)... Check power lead for any visual damages, try plugging in another socket or use another extension (if you are using one)...

Ok thanks for that. Yeah I'm currently using an extension I'll try swap it out, and have never updated my bios as i bought it, after the bios release date i assumed it was supposed to date. I'll try both of these things.
