Hi there, I was wondering if its gonna improve my secondary computer perfomance by upgrading the ram to 8gigs.

It's 4gigs right now and I think it's using 2sticks of 2gigs.

If it does, should I get 2 4's or 1 8 or I can save money and get another 2 sticks of 2?

Thanks.

Would it be the same as getting 2 sticks of 2 and combine them with the 2 that are already there? or its just better to get new ones?

Which 2 sticks do you already have? I mean, tell me the name and speed. And... if they are old, then you should buy the new ones :)(4gb X 2)

Uhm on the sticks it says Kingston 1.5V

just buy new ones... if you have another pc,put those kingstons in it and then buy new ram and out it in your build that you're asking now :)    or just sell those kingstons on ebay :)

That really doesn't tell much. Only that its Kingston memory. You should check it on BIOS or download Speccy. But on upgrading there's few ifs. If you are planning on larger upgrade soon, then buying 2x4gb kit would be better option. But if you are on budget and will continue to use that board for awhile then buying 2x2gb is ok too. 8gigs is enought ram for good while anyway and it will make your life easier when gaming or using other ram hungry software.
