Screen flashing colors during boot

Is your iGPU enabled? it looks like your monitor is running some kind of diagnostics because it can't find a video input.

My discreet gpu is on it's way so I'm just testing to see if it works. If not in bios, where do I enable the igpu?

Look in the manual and see if there is a way to reset the bios without entering the bios. it is possible that the iGPU is disabled.

Funny thing was it couldn't display on dvi. When I used the VGA connector, it worked fine and I was able to access uefi.

Cool mabye it was just a bad connection or the DVI was somehow disabled.

Not sure what it was because the same monitor and dvi cable worked on another computer. Must be a faulty dvi port. Good thing I have a discreet gpu coming or else I would've to rma this board. Thanks for your input.

No problem man I jus have never had this problem before so I wasn't very knownalable on the subject but glad to hear you got it sorted out.
