It needed more RGB.

My question is why the hell do I need such an expensive power supply?

Do you want the ultimate rgb build?

Case: thermaltake core 3

Cpu cooler: nxzt kracken

Motherboard: asus mini itx motherboard ( i will explain later why i would go with all asus stuff)

Gpu: asus strix

Ram: tridend Z rgb

Fans: 4 thermaltake 140mm rijng plus ( the new one just released) then:

Change the 2 fans of the cracken with 2 thermaltake rgb

Put the 3rd fan on the 3rd slot of the core p3

Demount the fan from the psu ( this is a bit DIY and you need to know what you are doing) and puth the 4th thermaltake fan ( or else buy directly an rgb psu)

With this you will have the entire pc with rgb that is also software controllable by aura sink ( the compatibility  for the fans is coming soon)

I'm not a genius myself, but you have no clue what the fuck you are talking about. The TridentZ RAM is DDR4...not DDR3. That post is impossible to read.
