Wait for Broadwell i7's and Maxwell 880's. Those will be out within the next year, and they will perform better.

Also the Formula is a waste of money.

if you could use the system now i wouldn't wait more than half a year for new architectures

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

He said college NEXT year. So 7 or 8 months before he needs it, and 6 months for the new architecture, and 14NM in Broadwell will offer more performance than the 22NM that is in Haswell, especially for 3D modeling. Also the 880 will probably perform like a 780Ti on drugs. It would be worth it, especially if he doesn't need it now. Maxwell is coming in Q1, and Broadwell in Q2.

Maxwell in Q1, and Broadwell in Q2. Read my previous post.

i read it, thanks!! I reallu dont know what to do

I would wait. Depending on what GPU you have, and how many cores are on your Athlon, you probably will be able to play on low settings for the next half year.

I have a gtx 460 and 2 cores, so i dont think it will work for half a year

You could just buy more RAM. That always works, then you would be OK at low/medium for upcoming AAA titles. My cousin can play GTA IV with some Mods on his GTS 450 on medium/normal settings and have 30+ frames.

I think you should wait right until you buy before you plan. 2-3 days at most. Parts and prices change frequently and suggested builds will be obsolete after several days.

I alredy think of that but there is not a big point in upgrading the ram as probably new games will be limited by the cpu

What MOBO do you have? You might be able to get a new 4 core Athlon, to fill the gap for the next half year aswell as new RAM.

Do you have a .txt or something with this in it?! I swear I see you post the exact thing everywhere.

Nope. I would love a macro for reminding people to quote/tag someone but the macro thing for my G710+ capitalizes everything and I'm a bit lazy to use AutoHotKey.

Th Quickfire has no macros, which sucks for me. I wonder if I would use one of the buttons on my G602 for asking if they need os, monitor, etc. That would be helpful.

It's a bit sad how that happens so often you'd want a macro for it.
