is this clean enough? (pictures included)

So i dont have any alcohol to clean off my cpu or cpu cooler but i know its okay to clean it with something that wont leave link, is this clean enough for me to put on my new thermal paste? (i took off the default thermal paste it came with)

I would say, probably.  But 99% isopropyl (or 91% where i live) is the best to use.  as long as there is no leftover residue, that could impede thermal conducitivty.

yea i cant really get any right now because my dad is gone for a week and raining outside so fuck biking, i dont even think the place i could go to would have it

You can get ispropyl, called rubbing alcohol, in basically any general store.  in the US, those are Rite Aid, Walmart, Target, CVS.  places like that.

I would say from my perspective that your CPU Cooler's shroud is fine in cleanliness to be remounted. Don't stress too much on having it absolutely impeccable. Although, it does appear as if some diminutive pockets of thermal compound were left over if you look towards the bottom left. Maybe just give it another scrubbing with a kitchen towel & you'll be fine.

It will be fine. You are never going to get it back to that perfect mirror finish you had before the first application.
