How is it a waste to get fast memory?  Ryzen performs significantly better with fast memory.

Also, the OP can just use the stock cooler until the adapter comes.  That way there are no compromises.

Have you been following the problems with memory, particularly with all four memory slots populated? I am sure they will eventually be worked out, but until a manufacturer lists faster parts on the QVL for the motherboard I would be hesitant to dive in.

Good thought on using the stock cooler.

I actually thought it was fixed by now, but you can underclock the RAM until then.

I suppose 2400MHz will work fine, I just thought you were saying faster memory was useless in general.

Not going to lie. I dont know the "intricacies" (for other people its prob. very obvious) of the Ram + CPU + motherboard etc... Knowing how much power or efficiency you get with what combination is out side my preview of knowledge.  That is why Im using  the advise of people here to kinda pick all that.

SO>>>>> if anyone knows what the magic combination of ram and other stuff is ... ill take any advice i can get because once i order everything im 100% committed at that point

The op is only populating two slots though for now. If he does need to add an extra 2 x 8GB in the future then the issues should have been ironed out.

A 120mm AIO isn't worth the extra money over something like the Cryorig H7.

That board doesn't support 3600MHz Ram. I think 3200MHz is the fastest supported speed (At least that is what is stated on the Asus product page).

Thanks for pointing it out changed the RAM to 3200MHZ waste of money if 3600MHZ is not supported and also i switched the cooler with Noctua NH-U9S. I think this cooler performs bit better than Cyrorig H7 but still H7 is more worth for the price.

OK so i have updated the build to reflex on based what everyone said/recomended. TY everyone for your help

So after 12 hours of reserching this is where I am at: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MNZpJV

1) motherboard changed because the Asus ram caped at 2444 (or something like that) not sure if its worth the extra money for a MSI 3200mhz ryzen motherboard. Information in this regard would be appreciated.

2) Would i be better off going with intel? from what i gather ryzen is better with things not gaming (video editing , browsing, programming etc...).

3) The ram does it have to be AMD specific?

4) Is M.2 SSD worth it?

5) On the monitor im clueless on what to get but after doing research for 12 hours and comparing im going to sleep.

PS Just saw this SanDisk SSD PLUS 480GB Solid State Drive (SDSSDA-480G-G26) [Newest Version] at $130. Could save me $70+. Worth?

Does this not presume the memory issues can be fixed through firmware?

I would hope so. If I have read correctly Ryzen supports up to 64GB Ram which would obviously mean populating all 4 slots. I know some boards have been having issues though with Ram (Such as Asus with the Crosshair). Hopefully they will iron out these issues with new bios updates.
