then drop the SSD. the difference between a 1050 and rx 470 is big. and a hard driv will b fine for a while.

shoot then spend the extra money on a 1050ti. Sometimes the 1060 3gb goes on sale for 180.

Possibly used parts then? They may not look as nice but you might get some extra performance for the same cost. (Especially GPUs)

Prices and parts constantly change, wait until you can afford the PC then make a parts list.

Wait until you're ready to build, and make a thread then. It's pointless to theorize what will be the better deal a few months down the road. Now, as for your build:

  • I wouldn't get a 1050 unless you're either playing very easy to run games, or have a sub 1080p monitor.
  • Don't get a 5900 RPM HDD. Get at least 7200 RPM.
  • You could get a 320GB HDD, save up and get a 120GB SSD/1TB combo later. They're not a lot of money, and it'll give you a good chunk extra for your video card. I'd actually recommend getting the SSD first, transferring Windows isn't always an easy affair.

I actually agree with this, though usually on builds containing a 240GB SSD.

My GTX 760 could run some demanding ish game (Mirrors Edge Catalyst) at medium with constant 30fps. There are more enjoyable and story driven games that requires less graphics to run, not everyone must play Deus Ex or Crysis 3
