For the past week I have been noticing that my PC is getting "Freezed" out of the sudden and I have to hard reset it, no BSOD or anything just freezes and won't be responsive.

I checked event viewer and found this:

Quote

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{8D8F4F83-3594-4F07-8369-FC3C3CAE4919}
 and APPID
{F72671A9-012C-4725-9D2F-2A4D32D65169}
 to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

and this

Quote

The driver detected a controller error on \Device\RaidPort2.

Does it have do deal with the SSD/HDD ?

My PC Specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 1700

MSI B350 Tomahawk

MSI GTX 1080

32GB DDR4 @2667

2 SSD's (1 NVMe and the other one is regular SSD)

2 TB HDD

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you

I have little understanding of what those errors are telling you but I'll throw some recommendations at you.

I wonder if it's an early adopter issue which will get worked out with updates.

You can try unplugging all unnessasary devices. boot drive only, 1 stick of RAM. Remove graphics card and use onboard. Run it for a while. See if the behavior changes.

It's talking about user permissions. Mentioning a server but it doesn't specify updates unless one of the acronyms say it.

This other error seems strait forward enough. If you're running a raid or simply using a port setup to use raid windows claims it malfunctioned. Try plugging that drive into another SATA port and see if it alleviates the problem.

Thank you for the reply, after some digging around some are saying it could be from the NVMe Driver and one of the suggested solutions is to reinstall windows.

Does the AM4 board not have native support for NVMe? Did you install some kind of driver for it?

If you've installed no such driver I have my doubts re-installing windows will change anything. Can you can the freeze comes on when you're doing any one particular thing or is it totally random?

Actually I become to realize that the crash happens when I play Twitch for some time, and when I reboot my PC, chrome works without audio, and doesn't appear under volume.

Strange. Sounds like a software issue but I don't have any other ideas.
