still undecided between 1060 and rx 480 - the 1060 (6gb) is currently £30-50 less than rx 480s

i'd get a 212 evo if it fits in that case, it's a fantastic budget cooler

The RX 480 is cheaper according to pcpartpicker.

Do you think the 1x8gb trade off to 2x4gb is the right thing to do?, and do you recommend this over my build? or was it showing that I could get an SSD if i wanted?

Cheers btw

The motherboard has 4 x ram slots so you can still upgrade to 16GB later on by adding another 2 x 4GB kit.

If you replace the GTX 1060 in your build for the RX 480 and add the Crucial SSD it comes out at £740 as you have the cpu cooler and slightly more expensive HDD adding to the price. The Seagate in my spec is the newer version for slightly less money.

The stock cooler will cope ok, but it is a bit noisier than an aftermarket one. You can always buy one later on if it is too loud. Just a case of cleaning the paste off and fitting the replacement.
