RAM Problem

hey guys just wanna ask some help i have this dell inspiron 14 N4030, with 2gb PC3-10600s, and i bought a new ram 4gb PC3L - 12800S and i try to reformat my laptop and it stop on windows preparing, and i try to reformat again my laptop with the 2gb ram and its working properly if i have the new 4gb ram i get a problem it won't boot and asking a repair pls help, and sorry about my english

yeah this is likely the second ram stick is not working properly. i had the same issue when i had one of my ram sticks not fully installed correctly. i would get all the way to the windows logo with the loading indicator then it would freeze. you may want to enter the bios and make sure the timings are correct. because they are 2 different ram sticks it may be a problem withe the ram timings for the 2 sticks being different so it is having issues running the one with other timings.

what do u mean timings? now im still using the 2gb ram

i tried the default settings in bios also, but still no luck
