280mm long, radiators are measured in fan size so it's the length of 2 140mm fans

agreed, a 280mm.  This is useful when talking about some sizes that are divisible by multiple sizes of fans, like 360mm rads.  That could be Triple 120mm or Dual 180mm, they both exist, though the Triple 120mm are far more popular.
