Okay, I have a Steelseries H Wireless headset. The Optical Audio cable is plugged into my PS4 and the mini USB is plugged into my PC. This means I can get audio from both devices, which is useful for streaming.

My question is; is it possible to split the optical audio cable so I can use optical audio on my PS4 and PC at the same time? That way I can have good sound on both.

Even if it isn't at the "same time" is there some sort of splitter to save me changing the USB/optical audio cables around everytime I want to plug the headset into different devices?

I'm guessing that wouldn't allow me to use optical audio on two different devices at the same time though, right?

Is there a switch for mini USB too?

and yes, you cannot use them at the same time. You would need a mixer board for that

Okay, I see.

So would this work?:

Steelseies H Wireless base - mini USB to USB switch - USB 1 to PS4 - USB 2 to PC

And then:

Steelseries H WIreless base - Optical Cable to Optical Cable switch - Optical Cable 1 to PS4 - Optical Cable 2 to PC

That way I can switch between my PC and PS4 without changing any wires, I would just have to switch the two switches, right?
