2nd Monitor Reccomendations

I already have a 24'' ASUS VG248QE monitor, and am looking into getting a 2nd display. Should I get another VG248QE for the sake of uniformity, or get some 24'' 1440p IPS monitor for content?

Thanks for any help!

if you want a 1440p display get a 27" one.

I'd personally go with the 1440p one, when it comes to watching movies, youtube, Twitch now supporting 6000 Bitrate so higher quality streams will slowly become a thing and you likely won't be gaming on two monitors at once

I'd agree if the the VG248QE wasn't a 1080p TN 144Hz panel.

Since the VG248QE is a high-refresh monitor, I would use it for gaming then buy a 24" IPS display (even 1080p) and watch videos or other content on that one. IPS displays have better colors in general and a 1080p 24" IPS can be had for as little as $110. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TCVBL6K/

Alternatively you could get a 24" 4K monitor for $300. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LPNKFK0
