Problems installing windows?

So I did a format and re-install of my system, or well, tried to, so I installed windows, everything was going fine and then the computer blue screens, so I though, this might be a one time thing right? then it boots up again and BAM blue screen, it happened a couple of times, now I'm scared anything got screwed, so what could this be and is there a fix?

 

EDIT: BTW it's windows 8

Well, the drive it's installed in just came out of the box so it might not be hardware

It could be a faulty hard drive. I would try plugging this drive into another computer if you have one and find the blue screen dump file located at C:\Windows\MiniDump and use bluescreen view to see what is causing the problem: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html

 

The memory might be also faulty. I would run LinX and run 10 passes and selecting all of the system memory to test your ram.

Ok it's working now I turned it on and it took me into a windows repair menu, and now it's working fine. Thanks! :)
