Don't blame me or hate me because I do use Razer's mice. I've been a long time Razer's mice users dating back to the first Diamondback (bought it around 2005).

Long story short: Got a free mice from Razer Indonesia (they're so kind!) which is the Razer Mamba Chroma edition.

First impression is, this mouse do have a lot of sensor issues. It is still outperformed by my old Taipan. I do have a subwoofer connected to my table which make it vibrates everytime. The Taipan holds well (No jittering issues or whatever) and then this mice sucks. Seen a lot of reviews on the net too about how this mice sensor sucks. Everytime my subwoofer vibrates, the cursor jitters (The mice itself is still in place, I think it doesn't move at all). Even when I hold it and turned off the subwoofer, it still does jitter sometimes. While I've been a long time Razer's mice users, I've been a long time Steelseries's mousepad users. I do use QcK Frost Blue on top of the QcK Heavy (Yes two layers, the Heavy itself isn't thick enough to comfort me). I don't know if this was the issue, but all my previous Razer's mice doesn't go jittery crazy on this. Trying to find the Firmware update but no luck. I've gone back to Razer and tell them this mouse do sucks and they offered a replacement unit. Now this is the third Razer Mamba Chroma I got on my hand. All three of them have the same issues, jittering. Well I thought by dragging it's DPI down to 100 and put Windows Mouse Speed settings to the far right should reduce the jitter. It does, a bit. Moving on to competitive games, like DOTA or CS:GO. The mouse sometimes freezes on me! It happened atleast twice for every DOTA game. Now this is something serious. Is the mouse really sucks? I've done the Calibration in Synapse and always used the Wired mode.

Spoiler

I've been using an Optical sensor for half of my life. But the Taipan has never failed me. Well it do now since it's click time may have expired. Atleast it's sensor is still as good as new.

The diamondback, abyssus and deathadder all have optical sensor I believe.

It just sucks, laser sensor's causing your issue here.

It's a Phillips Dual-Eye sensor, infamous for having more issues than any other sensor, whereas the Taipan uses an Avago sensor iirc.

on top of that the cable is stabilising the mouse and PCB from shaking in the case

idk

Let our support team help you with the Razer Mamba having sensor problems. Try cleaning your sensor using a Q-Tip with rubbing alcohol and then dry for 5 minutes before attempting to use it.

If issue still persists, contact our support team at http://rzr.to/help so they can further assist you as our mice do have a two-year warranty.
