A 1440p monitor AND a surround setup powered by ONE graphics card 770 (will upgrade to either 780ti or 880)

What issues will there be?

 

AND DON'T SAY SLI IT

Read your OWN vram and how much you need article! the 780ti has 3g. More than the max any game as hit according to your article.

My Build Log on PCPartPicker FX-6300, ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3, MSI 7870 GHz Edition, Corsair Vengeance LP 1x8GB, 1TB WD Blue, Fractal Core 1000 USB 3.0, Corsair CX600, and my most recent addition that I've had forever and isnt new is a 80GB WD800 for Linux, Lenovo ThinkPad X131e, ASUS Transformer TF300T, Galaxy Note 3 Sister dropped it in a puddle I now have to use a Samsung Brightside, Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250ohm version, Blue Yeti  #TheRealKEH-JEFF | "Sometimes, if were lucky, in Australia, a family has 2 kangaroos to pick up the kids with" - marto | Your entry here | Remember kids; just because Linus has a video on it, doesn't mean that its the best choice | ts3.wferr.com the best TeamSpeak | Abide by the CoC | Looking for build help? You could always SLI it...

xD dying but seriously, BF4 uses 2.2GB of VRAM at 1080 which will climb over the 2GB VRAM already :P my VRAM thread is out of date and I will be doing a complete overhaul of it once the new consoles are released with a few games.

why dont you just buy a dedicated sound card if you're spending this much.

 

the sound quality off a 780 wouldnt be amazing (i wouldve thought), and would probably lower the experience.

 

get a £50 sound card and 780 on 1440p would work, but i'd say in a year or so to SLI (sorry!) if you want to keep your system ontop of it.

possibly, still bf4 would be using more than 2.2GB in a 1440p or a surround setup it pushes a lot closer to 3GB if I remember correctly and I can assure you that it can't use that much.

I always write damn long things, oh yeah and feel free to read my titan calculations if you want ^_^ I love the Titan tbh :( wish I had the money for it since it's basically I developer's dream GPU

Go AMD.

 

Dual 290X will cost a tad more than a 780ti but is a much better solution
