I was wondering if anyone knows the purpose of the Integrated Clock Controller since it's quite difficult to find information on it and nobody else seems to be having the issue that I have. The reason I'm asking is because as of late I've been seeing high CPU usage at idle and I've narrowed it down to this particular process which always seems to use a considerable amount of processing power whether it be 2% or 4%. I've done some testing with Cinebench R15 to see the impact it has and the result seems to be a decrease in my score from 1022 to 952 which you can see in the screenshot (i7 7700k @4.6Ghz). Has anyone else encountered this and is it fine for me to just disable the process?
