OpenOS for PS3

Hello. I'm very sorry if there is a better place I could have chosen to post this. You used to be able to put Linux on to a PS3. I was wondering if any of you had ever done this. I am also curious (and unfortunately I have no way to test it, and most people probably don't) how awful would it be to run PCSX2 on linux on a PS3? I assume it would be crappy. Just sharing thoughts.

You need a PS3 with a older firmware that allows it and you would need to compile PCSX2 for the PS3 and probably even rewrite a lot of the emulator.
