Hey LTT community!

So it seems I am having power delivery problems with my gpu. I actually do mean power (power input) not the usage of the gpu, where my usage would stay constantly high, but the power drops to around 53% and the game either permantently or temporarily freezes or it gets stuttery and i get this electronic interference sound thorugh my headphones and/or speakers. The thing is that this issue already occured previously but after a while it disappeared without me doing anaything and occured again maybe 2 months later without having changed any drivers or hardware which is really odd and this is going on since i built my pc basically. Though I just did a fresh install of the drivers but it didnt help. I read online that you could enable "power loading" in the BIOS settings to maybe fix this issue, but i couldnt manage to find it anywhere in the settings.

Would be awesome if you could give me some advice and help me with that!

thanks in advance,

Tiwaz

Start with the basics, reseat the graphics card & pcie cables, and/or try different pcie cables.

Fresh graphics driver

Are you sure it is a power issue and not a software issue?

The program freezing would cause the utilization to drop just as the alternative.

Are you monitoring CPU usage and such when this occurs to roll out an issue with something running in the background?
