Windows 10 login problem

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I can't login to my account that is linked to my outlook account. I can click on the account and enter the password, but then after saying the typical "welcome" the screen goes black for a couple seconds, and then goes back to the login screen. This is the only account that I have this issue with and would

appreciate it if anybody could help me. By the way I am using Windows 10.

apparently this happens after an anniversary update by windows. people are suggesting a system restore, or a clean reinstall. or the easiest one - unplug your pc from the network and try logging in
